At the Paperworld 2004 STAEDTLER presented a new member of the Lumocolor family, the STAEDTLER Lumocolor permanent compact marker, a handy-sized all-rounder for labelling and marking purposes.

The new Lumocolor permanent compact is a true all-rounder.

Its new compact size makes it suitable for a variety of different applications.

Convenient and comfortable to use for writing purposes, it also serves as a marker, perfect for labelling and marking.

The pressure-resistant, locked universal tip for variable line widths keeps its shape and offers a consistent line width even during intensive use (line widths between 1-2 mm).

The new STAEDTLER Lumocolor permanent compact - available in black, blue, red and green - possesses impressive ink characteristics.

Thanks to the DRY SAFE ink, the pens can be left uncapped for days at a time without drying up (test ISO 554):

When left open during breaks in writing - a common scenario whether used for professional or household applications - the universal pens remain ready for action without delay. 

Writing dries within seconds - an advantage which, for left-handed users in particular, is not to be underestimated.

What's more, the new pen is extremely smudge-proof and waterproof on almost all surfaces and possesses excellent lightfast qualities.

Used on paper, black and green remain lightfast for over 10 years.

These two colours are also weatherproof, making them ideal for outdoor applications.
